LE SPECTACLE

Réduit aux dimensions d’une cerise à la suite d’une morsure de serpent, un père s’embarque dans une quête initiatique en pleine forêt avec son enfant. Tiré du texte éponyme de Stéphane Jaubertie, Everest fait dialoguer comédiens et marionnettes dans un univers empreint de merveilleux, et explore l’accomplissement de soi.

While out walking in the forest with his son, a father is bitten by a snake and finds himself shrunk down to the size of a cherry. Saved at the last minute by his son, he now lives in a cardboard box on the kitchen table… but the irresistible call of the forest draws the father and son on an initiatory quest. Based on the text of the same name by Stéphane Jaubertie, Everest brings actors and puppets together in a magical world and tackles the concept of self-fulfilment.  

Focus Compagnie Tro-Héol
Daniel Calvo-Funes et Martial Anton, fondent la compagnie Tro-Héol en Bretagne en 1995. Ils aiment raconter des histoires en adaptant des romans contemporains ou en s’appuyant sur des écritures théâtrales originales, installant avec humour et tendresse des personnages dans des situations intenses.

Daniel Calvo-Funes and Martial Anton founded the Tro-Héol theatre company in Brittany in 1995 and now direct the company’s shows. They like to adapt contemporary novels or draw inspiration from original dramatic texts involving characters in intense situations, always adding a good dose of humour and affection.
